A Better Approach to Team Building

Conventional team building activities can be a fun diversion from your regular work routine but, in my experience, they don’t yield lasting results because they fail to address the underlying issues that prevent people from collaborating effectively.
A much more effective team building approach is to help your staff shift their behaviors from what they do now to more productive ones. All it requires is teaching people how to interact and collaborate positively.
The way you do it is to teach your staff how to listen actively and problem-solve collaboratively. When they learn these vital skills, they’ll be able to function at a much higher level as a team.
