How to Be an Empathetic Leader

If you’ve ever worked for an empathetic leader, you know what an invigorating and uplifting experience it can be simply because they know how to value you and create a supportive, nurturing workplace.
Anyone can become an empathetic leader, it just requires mastering skills like active listening, emotional awareness, compassion, open-mindedness, and effective communication. When you become adept at doing things like these, you and your employees will be much happier and productive.
A great place to start is to simply pick one skill to work on and start doing small things each day to become proficient at it. Once you master it, move on to another and, over time, you’ll become and empathetic leader.
