A lot of people in leadership positions think that the only way to motivate people is through fear but, in my experience, there is a much better path.

Try positive reinforcement to motivate people. It’s a much kinder and more honoring approach that yields far better results. People are much more likely to repeat desirable behaviors when you praise the work they’re doing.
