Empathetic Leaders Are More Successful

There are a lot of examples of toxic leaders who run abusive companies and organizations that achieve a lot despite fostering unhealthy workplace cultures, but there’s a much better path that yields far better results.
Empathetic leaders are more successful than toxic ones because they are able to get the same things done while supporting and nurturing their employees. They’re there for people and see them as valuable human beings that deserve to be treated well.
The advantage empathetic leaders have is that they don’t burn their staff out and create miserable environments that produce a lot at the expense of people’s well-being. They achieve just as much as toxic leaders while also adding an additional layer of kindness and care that opens up even more opportunities for success.
The reason I know that empathetic leaders are more successful is that, throughout the course of my consulting career, I’ve noticed that the healthiest and most productive organizations aren’t run by harsh and callous people.
Let’s work together to foster a supportive and nurturing workplace culture in your organization.
