I’ve consulted for a lot of leaders who truly believe that trust is earned but, in my experience, there is a much better way of doing things.

A far more effective way of thinking and behaving is to trust your employees from the start and give them the ability to do their thing. All you have to do is be a resource when they need training or have questions.
