Most organizations create workplaces that are punitive and harsh and then wonder why their employees aren’t motivated. In my experience, there is a much better way of doing things.

A far more effective approach to motivating employees is to behave with kindness, which builds a workplace culture of happy, engaged, productive employees who get a lot done because they’re treated well and feel valued.
